Edit- I opened a Facebook account awhile back, but haven't done much with it. I plan on adding some behind the scenes pics there sometime though. Anyway, it's right here.
Wow this is so cool, so simplistic yet so full of life. I love the way you take simple basic objects and make them seem more detailed and complex than they really are, I think the effect you use in the photography helps too. I can't wait until the book comes out!
Well now that they've tied the knot, they'll unwind and make a few little bobbins of their own. She'll stay home and do needlepoint while he goes and works the machines.
So a piece of thread walks into a bar, asks for a drink. Bartender says "we don't serve pieces of thread here" and kicks the thread out. Thread decides to disguise himself to get back in by tying himself in a knot and fraying his ends all out. Goes back in, bartender takes his order without recognizing him. As he's bringing the drink he says "wait a minute, you're that thread aren't you." Piece of thread says "no, I'm a frayed knot."
I don't know if this was intentional, but the intertwined part of the threads actually looks like they're holding the hands of a little baby who's taking his first steps.
